MOSES, "AND ONE LIKE UNTO HIM" Deut. 18:15

Question: What was Moses’ motivation for freeing the Hebrews from Egyptian captivity?  Did he believe in human rights or was it solely because he knew they would be mistreated by the Egyptians?

He was motivated by Almighty God, who accosted him in the “Burning Bush”!

He had already been moved to anger when seeing one of the Hebrew slaves being mistreated in Egypt, prior to his exile.

He was also under pressure to the extent of illness, because he had neglected to “Circumcise” his sons, which his wife did for him!  This led to him being “Ceremonially Correct”, in the upcoming fight with Pharaoh/Satan, for the release of the Hebrews!

The whole of the story is on record in the Old Testament, as a ‘picture’ of the extended fight with Satan for the release of humans into the care of Christ Jesus, and for the Completion of the Jews into their “Promised Land” (see Ezek. 39:21–29)!
